Funds of The Order

Although we are not allowed to raise money in the name of The Order, the fruits of our individual giving spread Christ’s Kingdom in many ways. Daughters give annually to the four Funds of The Order. The Self Denial Fund (now Mission and Outreach fund) supports mission; the Master’s Fund (now Ministry Education Fund) provides women with scholarships for seminary and theological education; the Alpha Fund ( now Junior Daughter Fund) supports Junior Daughters programs; and the Endowment Fund supports the continuing work of The Order in the extension of Christ’s Kingdom. Chapters observe annual dates of ingathering for each Fund but individual contributions may be made at any time. Gifts from those who are not Daughters are always welcomed.

Update as of June 2024:

The Master’s Fund will be known as the Ministry Education Fund

The Alpha Fund becomes the Junior Daughter Fund

The Self Denial Fund is renamed the Mission and Outreach Fund. The resolution also expanded the purpose of this fund.

The National DOK is still in the process of updating the webpage, but there is an updated form for contributions here

How the Endowment Fund supports The Order

The Endowment Fund was established to further the work of The Order by investing donations made to the Fund and providing for the later withdrawal of earnings. The Order follows the established policy for the Fund concerning the retention and long-term growth of the principal (donated monies) and calculated withdrawals of earnings based on the financial solvency of The Order. The Endowment Fund is blessed to have experienced significant growth in recent years. As such, earnings have been distributed in the last 8 fiscal years according to policy and designated for International Development, National Enrichment, Operating Reserve, and Capital Expenditures. The Endowment Fund truly is a gift that keeps on giving!
